This program is centered around sending birthday cards and wishes to foster youth! Brighten someone's day with a simple card and positive message.

Gotta Have Sole Cards

Decorate cards and write personalized messages that are sent with shoes to homeless children! These cards can be either virtual or physical. Please put effort into your cards, especially the virtual ones.

Learn In Shelter Tutoring

Get involved in tutoring over quarantine through Learn in Shelter's nonprofit program, a program specifically designed for children in need! Tutoring sessions will be held virtually over Zoom calls. Register at Learn in Shelter's website and indicate that you are a YAK member. Please additionally fill out a form so we are aware you have committed to tutoring.
